TrafficID by BrandWell allows you to identify the people visiting your website, not just the companies. If you’re ready to unlock deeper insights into your audience, integrating TrafficID into your site is a straightforward process.

Below, we outline how you can integrate TrafficID with various popular content management systems (CMS) and custom-coded websites.

Already Using the BrandWell WordPress Plugin?

Our WordPress plugin includes a TrafficID feature that can be enabled directly without needing to install the snippet separately. Here’s how it works:

How to Enable TrafficID

  1. Go to the plugin settings in your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Find the Enable/Disable TrafficID option (disabled by default).

3.Select the TrafficID option and click Submit .
    4. The plugin will connect to the backend to retrieve your project’s TrafficID APP ID and enable the feature.

Important Notes

  • TrafficID can only be enabled after verifying and activating the plugin.
  • If the TrafficID snippet is already installed on your website, you won’t be able to toggle it on. A message will appear notifying you of the existing snippet.

This simple process ensures seamless integration of TrafficID without duplicate installations.

You can begin reviewing your visitor data through your BrandWell dashboard. Check this guide on How to Access the TrafficID feature.

How to Integrate TrafficID on Popular CMS Platforms

For those using other platforms, integrating TrafficID is a simple process that involves adding a small snippet of code to your site. Below are instructions for some of the most commonly used platforms.

[object Object] WordPress (Without the Plugin)

If you’re not using the BrandWell plugin, manually add the TrafficID code to your site. Go to Appearance > Theme File Editor, select header.php, and paste the TrafficID snippet before the closing </head> tag.

[object Object] Wix

In Wix, go to your site’s Dashboard > Settings > Custom Code. Select Add Custom Code, paste the TrafficID snippet, and ensure it is set to appear on all pages before the closing </head> tag.

[object Object] Shopify

In Shopify, navigate to Online Store > Themes > Actions > Edit Code. Open the theme.liquid file, and insert the TrafficID snippet before the closing </head> tag.

[object Object] Webflow

In Webflow, go to Project Settings > Custom Code, and paste the TrafficID snippet into the Head Code section. This will automatically include the code on all your site’s pages.

[object Object] Magento

For Magento, go to Content > Design > Configuration, select your theme, and under HTML Head, paste the TrafficID code in the Scripts and Style Sheets section before the closing </head> tag.

[object Object] Integrating TrafficID on Custom Coded Sites

If your website is custom coded, you’ll need to manually insert the TrafficID snippet into your site’s HTML. Simply paste the code directly before the closing </head> tag on every page you want to track. If your site uses a common header file that loads across all pages, you can insert the snippet there to ensure it’s deployed site-wide.
